On Juli 15, 2014 as a part of the final event of the project/seminar, the award ceremony of the MedIT Hardware Contest sponsored by Texas Instruments took place. The teams had to present their projects and were judged by a jury of research associates of the institute. The winners of this year's contest are:

1. Sebastian Ferch & Mathias Illian - "Bierfass-Füllstand"

2. Marco Bellof & Florian Schulz - "Robonova Greifarm"

3. Lars Fahnster & Florian Huthmacher - "Elektronische Last"
