Once again this year, a MedIT team visited the POSTER conference at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) together with some WMAs and students from IHTA and ISEA as well as other guests from TU Darmstadt and the University of Žilina. From 21.05. to 25.05., under the leadership of Prof. Vladimír Blažek, in addition to the scientific exchange with the CTU, a very rich cultural programme was again offered as part of the conference, including exclusive visits to Prague Castle and Cathedral, the Strahov Monastery with its historic library, the Senate grounds and the Bethlehem Chapel. Three of MedIT's submissions were honoured with special awards:

Biomedical Engineering session

• 1st place: Nika Khosravi - State of the Art in Pulsed-Dose Oxygen Delivery for Mechanical Ventilation

Communications

• 2nd place: Urban Jacobs, Nathan Kühr, Lukas Mardak - Pulse to Tone Dialling Converter

History of Science and Technology

• 4th place: Jannik Prüßmann, Immo Baarlink - A Historical Overview of Electrocardiography: From Early Discoveries to Modern Advances

MedIT congratulates on this great success and would like to thank Professor Blažek for his extraordinary dedication, passion and enormous perseverance in leading the excursion. We would also like to congratulate the other seven prizewinners from Aachen, Darmstadt and Žilina, who also participated successfully in their categories!
