Within the exchange programme of the yESAO (young European Society of Artificial Organs), Seraina Dual (pdz, ETH) and Leonie Korn (MedIT, RWTH) were selected for the yESAO Exchange Award 2018 with their project "Left ventricular volume measurement from a VAD cannula perspective" (http://www.esao.org/yesao/awards/). This award offers young researchers the opportunity to exchange ideas and work together during a two-week exchange to carry out a project that has been worked out in advance. The results of the cooperation will be presented at the ESAO in Madrid in September 2018.
