Siying Wang was awarded the Viktor und Mirka Pollak-Prize for Biomedical Engineering 2014 for her diploma project called "Development of an Algorithm for a High-Frequency FMCW Radar System for Contactless Monitoring of Vital Signs" on December 12. Her work was supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. med. Steffen Leonhardt in cooperation with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nils Pohl of the Fraunhofer FHR, Wachtberg.
