The Chair for Medical Information Technology (MedIT) is located in the Helmholtz Institute for Biomedical Technology.
The building of the Helmholtz Institute is located directly next to the University Hospital RWTH Aachen, which is on the west side of Aachen, approximately 2 kilometers from the Netherlands (B1 to Vaals). It is within sight of the physics/electrical engineering buildings and mechanical engineering building on Hörn.
