The research stay of Prof. Leonhardt in July 2016 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras was part of the Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) program. Prof. Leonhardt held a lecture on "Biomedical Engineering Systems", which found general approval under the students.
